Well, it's been a few years since I have posted anything here.  Since I have once again started the CRP Computer Club I thought it might be useful to begin posting again.  Here goes:

If you are using Chrome as your browser, here is some good news.

Although Chrome already includes some protection against sites that attempt to snare you with Phishing "lures", Microsoft's protection in their browser, known as "Edge" is better, however it has been available only in Microsoft's two browsers - Edge and Internet Explorer.

Microsoft has now made that level of protection available to folks using Google's Chrome browser.  It will work on the Chrome browser running on Windows and on Apple's Mac OS.  There is a good article re same located at microsoft-releases-windows-defender-browser-protection-extension-chrome

To install this protection in your Chrome browser, use your Chrome browser to go to

and in the search box at the top left (see "search the store") type in "Windows defender" (no quotes} then see "Windows Defender Browser Protection" and click on "Add to Chrome".
